Problem Statement

请求：为 Claude 桌面端添加简体中文界面支持
你好 Anthropic 团队，首先感谢你们打造了 Claude 这么出色的产品。我是一名中文母语用户，在日常工作中深度依赖 Claude 桌面端。
目前桌面端的 UI 界面（菜单、设置面板、按钮、提示信息、快捷键说明等）全部为英文。虽然我具备一定的英文阅读能力，但在高强度工作中频繁切换语言心智模式会增加认知负担。以下是我认为中文化会带来具体价值的几个场景：

专业写作与文档处理：当我用中文撰写技术文档、商务邮件或报告时，桌面端的写作辅助界面如果是中文的，能让我更流畅地专注于内容创作本身，而非在工具语言间不断切换。
团队协作：我和团队成员（部分英文水平有限）共用 Claude 桌面端进行项目管理、文案校对等工作时，英文界面成为了一道不必要的门槛，限制了工具的普及率。
设置与配置：快捷键配置、工作目录设置、MCP 和插件管理等相对复杂的功能面板，中文化能显著降低配置错误的概率，也减少了对界面的理解时间。
系统语言一致性：我的操作系统（Windows/macOS）已设置为中文，桌面端如果能跟随系统语言或提供手动切换选项，体验会更加统一和自然。

具体希望中文化的部分（按优先级）：

设置面板和各个子设置页面
菜单栏（文件、编辑、查看、帮助等）
右键上下文菜单
工具提示（tooltip）和悬停说明
错误提示和状态信息
快捷键/功能列表说明

如果能够提供 i18n 框架，开放社区贡献翻译，我相信会有大量中文用户愿意参与其中。

Dear Anthropic Team,
Thank you for building Claude — it has become an indispensable tool in my daily workflow. I am writing to request Simplified Chinese localization support for the Claude desktop application.
The Claude desktop app's entire UI — menus, settings panels, buttons, tooltips, error messages, and keyboard shortcut documentation — is only available in English. As a native Chinese speaker, while I can navigate the English interface, the constant context switching between English UI and Chinese content creates unnecessary cognitive friction during intensive work sessions.
Key use cases: professional writing in Chinese, team adoption among colleagues with limited English, complex settings panels that risk misconfiguration, and system-level language consistency.
Prioritized scope: Settings panel and sub-pages first, then menu bar, context menus, tooltips, error messages, and shortcut documentation.
If Anthropic were to provide an i18n/l10n framework and open it to community contributions, I am confident there would be significant volunteer interest.
