[BUG] Sidebar project grouping disappeared — only "Recents" list shown

What's Wrong?

Before today (2026-04-27), the sidebar showed conversations grouped by project. Now it only shows a flat "Recents" list. The project filter dropdown is still present and functional, but the grouped view is gone.

What Should Happen?

Conversations should be grouped by project in the sidebar, as they were until yesterday.

Open Claude Code desktop app
Look at the sidebar — only "Recents" is visible, no project groupings
