[FEATURE] Telemetry for Claude Desktop and Claude.ai web

Problem Statement

Telemetry for Claude Code is great, and our org is using the Otel telemetry with Grafana successfully.
However as of 24-April-2026 there's no telemetry options for Claude desktop or Claude web.

I can see another user has requested telemetry for Claude Code for web. My request here is for telemetry for Claude desktop and Claude.ai web. That's a great request I'm also supportive of, but I wanted to make sure this request for desktop and web was clearly heard and not assumed to be part of Claude Code for web - our org wants Claude desktop and web telemetry too.

Org settings enabled turning on telemetry for all users, like for Claude Code.
