What's Wrong?

when i resume a session like
claude --resume d5f92893-5d26-4ffc-b24c-44bcfa576111

claude code send telemetry data with a new session_id attribute (different than d5f92893-5d26-4ffc-b24c-44bcfa576111_

What Should Happen?

telemetry should use same session_id

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create a session and send some message
  2. exit and then resume session
  3. observe in telemetry that a new session appeared
