[BUG] On Claude Desktop (Windows), Usage Spikes instantly without any cause

What's Wrong?

Out of nowhere, there is a massive usage spike even when there isn't much usage at all when you start your 5-hour session window. For example, in the screenshot below, a single coding chat session caused this. There was no speed-boost or background tasks running - just a simple chat session with a simple prompt. This is a 20x Max plan by the way.

And a few minutes later:

What Should Happen?

Claude should not be eating away usage when there is no actual usage.
