[BUG] Schedule entry missing from desktop sidebar (present on web)

Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Apr 19, 2026 by slepkin Closed May 31, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

The docs at https://code.claude.com/docs/en/desktop-scheduled-tasks instruct: "To create a local scheduled task, click Schedule in the sidebar." In the Claude Desktop app there is no Schedule entry in the sidebar. The same account on claude.ai/code shows the Schedule entry as expected.

Sidebar items visible in desktop: New session, Dispatch, Customize, More, Pinned, Routines, and one entry for each project. No Schedule entry, including under More.

What Should Happen?

A Schedule entry should appear in the sidebar of the desktop app, matching the web UI and matching the documentation.
