- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Environment:
∙ Claude Code Web (<claude.ai/code>)
∙ Also tried Claude Code Desktop app — same result
∙ Claude Max subscription
Issue:
Every attempt to use /schedule returns:
“We’re having trouble connecting with your remote <claude.ai> account to set up a scheduled task. Please try /schedule again in a few minutes.”
Tried 5+ times over ~30 minutes. Consistent failure on both web and desktop.
What Should Happen?
Should be able to create a scheduled remote agent to run automated maintenance on my repository.
Error Messages/Logs
“We’re having trouble connecting with your remote <claude.ai> account to set up a scheduled task. Please try /schedule again in a few minutes.”
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude Code web at <claude.ai/code>
- Connect to a GitHub repository (private repo, all other features work)
- Type /schedule in the chat
- Immediately receive error: “We’re having trouble connecting with your remote <claude.ai> account to set up a scheduled task. Please try /schedule again in a few minutes.”
- No prompt to configure a schedule — it fails before that step
- Repeated attempts (5+ times over 30 minutes) produce the same error
- Switched from Claude Code Desktop app to Claude Code web — same error on both
