[BUG] Claude Code Desktop unable to launch with different project folder

What's Wrong?

Launching a new session in the claude code desktop app defaults to the first folder you selected. Switching the project folder before typing a message does not update anything and the session is still run from the first folder.

What Should Happen?

Switching the project directory before starting the session should be respected. I don't want every session to have the same project

Steps to Reproduce

Repro:

• open claude code desktop
• choose an existing session (create one if you have none)
• create a new session
• change project folder to something different
• send a chat
