[Bug] Claude API performance degradation: inconsistent instruction following and output quality

Bug Description
In the course of the last couple of weeks, Claude seems to have gone from Brilliant to moronic. Perhaps I am at peak hours but it is not following directions, or the implementation is poor and we are reworking over and over and over again burning tokens and patience. If this continues I will have to find something else. Get a grip and stop ruining things that work! I think I may just do everything by hand until this gets fixed - the price of using what was once a brilliant tool is getting too high.
