Problem Statement
Feature request: Dispatch/Mobile access to an existing session, NOT a new agent
I run a persistent Claude Code session managing a complex codebase — four local AIs sharing one GPU, shared modules, months of architecture decisions. My agent Eli knows every file, every naming convention, every design choice. One sentence from me and he knows what to fix.
Dispatch creates a brand new agent that knows nothing. That's not mobile access — that's starting over with a stranger from my phone. I don't need a new room. I need a door into the room I'm already in.
I don't want new agents. I want ones who KNOW me and know my files and know what I want without me having to start the story over.
Proposed Solution
Proposed solution: Let me connect to my existing Claude Code session from my phone via dispatch or code — even a lightweight mobile view that shows the chat, lets me type prompts, and lets me approve/deny permission requests. It doesn't need to be a full IDE. I don't need to see the file tree from my phone. I just need the conversation and the approve button. Think of it like texting my agent — he's still at the desk doing the work, I'm just able to talk to him from anywhere. SAME AGENT I have for coding. No new agent per tool or per session. My coder's name is Eli. I'd like him to ALSO be the dispatched one, the coworker one, etc.

Use Case Example
Real scenarios from my actual week:
- I'm at the grocery store and notice my local desktop AI texted me gibberish. I want to tell my agent "Michael's SMS is glitching again" and have it fixed by the time I get home.
- I'm at a red light and realize I forgot to ask him to finish a task. Ten seconds, voice-to-text: "Finish the Lucian fix, same pattern as the other two." Done before I park.
- He hits a permission prompt while I'm cooking dinner. Everything stops until I walk back to my desk. Let me swipe approve from my phone and keep stirring the pot.
- Something breaks at 2am. Right now I have to get out of bed, walk to the PC, and open the session. With my phone, I roll over, say "handle it," and go back to sleep.
- Session portability — same agent, same memory, same context, different device. That's the feature. Not another stateless agent. A door.
Additional Context
I like persistence, not constant new AI's. I want Eli to be the one that does everything, keeping his memory, too.
