Problem Statement
Feature Request: Minimize/Collapse button for AskUserQuestion popup
When Claude uses AskUserQuestion, the popup covers the main conversation text. I often need to read Claude's explanation above before choosing an option, but the popup blocks it.
Request: Add a minimize/collapse button to the AskUserQuestion popup so users can temporarily hide it, read the context behind it, then bring it back to make their selection.
Current behavior: Popup appears and blocks the conversation — no way to dismiss or minimize without answering.
Expected behavior: A minimize button (e.g. ▼ or −) on the popup that collapses it temporarily, letting users scroll and read, then restore it when ready to answer.
Proposed Solution

Expected behavior: A minimize button (e.g. ▼ or −) on the popup that collapses it temporarily, letting users scroll and read, then restore it when ready to answer.
Proposed Solution:
- Add a toggle button (minimize/restore) to the popup header bar
- When minimized, show a small floating indicator (e.g. "1 pending question") at the bottom of the screen
- Clicking the indicator restores the full popup
- Keyboard shortcut (e.g. Esc to minimize, Enter to restore) would also help
