Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

If I start Claude code on Linux, I’m locked in on Linux and there is no option to switch

What Should Happen?

If I start Claude code on one platform them continue with another, I fully expect to be able to switch platforms on my phone. My interpretation is, one can monitor many Claude codes on my phone so I’m not constant going to my computer to click yes. It’s , and this either isn’t documented or is intentionally suppressed, that once one starts on a platform they are totally locked in; do not try to do anything in that session with another platform as it will fail spectacularly.

Error Messages/Logs

I can switch.

Steps to Reproduce

Start a session on one platform the try to do anything where one would expect to perform an action on another.
