[BUG] No setting to disable buddy, april fools stunts, and other gimmicks

What's Wrong?

Anthropic decided that everyone should be subjected to their April fools stunt. There is no way to opt out on Desktop at all, nor is there a setting to disable gimmicks like this in all perpatude

What Should Happen?

We should have a setting to opt out of this stuff and disables them permanently.
