Problem Statement
Hi Anthropic team 👋
First things first: I love Claude Code. Deeply. Opus 4.6 with the 1M context window has genuinely changed how I work. I'm a solo builder running ~50 projects in parallel from New Caledonia, and Claude Code has become the backbone of everything I ship — games, SaaS, client sites, creative tools. What you're building is extraordinary, and I wanted to lead with that because the rest of this message is a product suggestion, not a complaint.
Here's my situation, shared in the hope it's useful signal for your roadmap:
My workflow revolves around multi-agent sessions — 5 to 8 parallel subagents, Opus for strategic reasoning, Sonnet for exploration, long sessions across large codebases. It's exactly the kind of power-user pattern I imagine your team hoped Claude Code would enable.
And it works beautifully.
The thing is, one Max 20x subscription isn't quite enough for this rhythm anymore. So a few weeks ago I subscribed to a second Max 20x account as a workaround. I'm genuinely happy to spend more to keep working this way — the value I get is massive. But juggling two accounts means switching API keys, MCP server configs, credentials, and local tooling every time I hit a wall, which fragments the workflow that makes Claude Code so magical in the first place.
I looked into Enterprise, but it's understandably built for larger teams (20-seat minimum, per-token API billing on top of seats), and doesn't fit a solo builder profile.
Proposed Solution
So here's my humble suggestion: would you consider a Max 40x tier (or even higher) sitting between Max 20x and Enterprise? A single account, a single set of credentials, with a higher quota ceiling for power users who've outgrown 20x. I'd happily subscribe to $400/month the day it launches, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone — indie devs, solo founders, and small studios who live inside Claude Code all day are probably in the same boat.
There's a real gap in the ladder between Max 20x and Enterprise right now, and I think filling it would capture revenue you're already leaving on the table — from users who genuinely love your product and want to give you more money, cleanly.
Whatever you decide, thank you for Claude Code. It's one of the most impressive pieces of software I've ever used. Keep shipping 🧡
