[Bug] Excessive token consumption and latency on single-word prompts

Bug Description
I hate to report as a 1(bad) because it is more nuanced than this, but i typed in a single word prompt and it took minutes to return an answer and ate up 100k tokens lol, kinda crazy, I appreciate what everyone at anthropic does and know you guys have a full plate. Keep on keeping on! If ya ever need anyone to help, please let me know :)]
