[Bug] Guest pass credits awarded despite failed payment on trial expiration

Bug Description
theres an issue regarding the guest passes in claude code :

• I sent a guest pass to a friend.
• When they tried to activate it after the trial ended, the charge to their card was declined — their card had insufficient funds.
• Despite the payment being blocked, I still received the $50 usage credit on my account.

It seems the system grants the referral credit before confirming that the invitee's payment actually went through. Wanted to flag this so it can be looked into.
