Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Claude Code process dies unexpectedly and randomly on Windows.
When restarting with claude, it requires a full re-login.

What Should Happen?

Crashes are random, no pattern in timing

  • No error message shown — the process just dies
  • After restart, login is required again (token not persisted)
  • No crash logs found in ~/.claude/
  • Same user running Claude Code via SSH on Raspberry Pi (Linux)

has NO disconnection issues — problem is Windows-specific
