[BUG] Cowork: input field intermittently loses focus/becomes unresponsive — voice input workaround restores it

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)

What's Wrong?

In Cowork mode, the text input field periodically becomes unresponsive — clicking on it and typing does nothing. The cursor does not appear and keystrokes are ignored.

Workaround: Clicking the microphone icon and recording a short voice message restores the ability to type in the input field. After the voice input is processed, the text input works normally again — until the next occurrence.

This happens randomly and repeatedly during normal use.

What Should Happen?

The text input field should always be focusable and accept keyboard input.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Cowork mode normally for some time
  2. At some point, the input field stops accepting text — clicking on it does nothing, no cursor appears
  3. Click the microphone icon and record any short message
  4. After voice input completes, text input works again
  5. Issue recurs randomly

Additional Information

No error messages or logs observed. The issue is purely UI — the input field visually appears normal but does not respond to clicks or keystrokes until voice input is used as a workaround.
