VS Code Extension: Claude Interface Tab Becomes Unresponsive and Loses Conversation State

Bug Description
There's annoying bug in VS Code plugin or VS Code itself, that renders the tab with Claude interface inert, as in it turns into just a history page, without the prompt area. At that point the whole thread is gone, and one has to start from scratch
