[Bug] Terminal becomes unresponsive when window focus is lost during waiting state

Bug Description
When claude has presented information and is awaiting a decision it is in a waiting state.
If in the previous few seconds before that state is entered, the focus of the mouse is moved to another window in macos, when the mouse returns to that window the screen is unresponsive.
A click to re-awake the terminal monitor causes the waiting state to be aborted.
Which claude complains about being interrupted.
this is consisten and repeatable ad nauseum.
