Problem Statement

My organization recently aquired an enterprise license, but my team has been using individual accounts over the past year for work-related projects. We are not able to export this history from our individual accounts to store in our new enterprise accounts. The export feature exists for the web-ui, but importing does not seem to be an option in either the web interface or Claude Code. We will lose all of our project history from our personal accounts while moving to the enterprise license; a workaround for this limitation would be extremely helpful.

Proposed Solution

Provide an option to export data from an individaul account into a new enterprise account through the web app and claude code.

Use Case Example

Example scenario:

  1. I am working on a multi-phase data science project within my personal account. I have months of conversation history within claude to analyze the original PICO, suggest modifications, determine optimal analytical models, conduct initial analyses, etc.
  2. My organization is providing enterprise licenses so we can stop reimbursement for individual accounts.
  3. I need to export the multi-phase data science project history from my personal account and upload it to my new enterprise account, both in the web app and claude code, so I can continue working seamlessly.
