/usage dialog auto-dismisses before user can see it

Description

The /usage command dialog appears to be auto-dismissed immediately before the user has a chance to see it.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code CLI
2. Type /usage and submit

Expected Behavior

The usage stats dialog should remain visible until the user explicitly dismisses it.

Actual Behavior

The dialog flashes and is immediately dismissed. The command output shows "Status dialog dismissed" with no opportunity to view the content.
