Code tab shows Cowork content; Cowork not responding (macOS, v1.1.9493)

Bug Description
After reinstalling Claude Desktop on macOS, clicking the Code tab still displays Cowork information instead of the Code interface. Additionally, Cowork is not responding — it appears stuck/frozen with no output.
Reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue. Clearing Electron caches (Session Storage, Local Storage, IndexedDB, Cache, Code Cache, GPUCache) and relaunching is being tested as a workaround.
Environment
- App version: 1.1.9493
- OS: macOS Sequoia (Darwin 25.4.0), Apple Silicon
- Claude Code CLI version: 2.1.87 (bundled)
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude Desktop (v1.1.9493)
- Click the Code tab in the top navigation
- Observe that Cowork content/UI is displayed instead of the Code interface
- Cowork itself is unresponsive — no output, appears frozen
Expected Behavior
- Code tab should show the Claude Code interface (terminal-style agentic coding environment)
- Cowork should be responsive when accessed through its own tab
What I've Tried
- Fully quit and restarted the app
- Reinstalled Claude Desktop from scratch
- Cleared Electron session/cache data (Session Storage, Local Storage, IndexedDB, Cache, etc.)
