Voice mode not working in 2.1.83 (works in 2.1.81)

Description

Voice mode toggles on/off correctly but recording does not work in version 2.1.83. The same machine with version 2.1.81 running in other terminal windows has voice mode working fine.

Environment

  • Claude Code version: 2.1.83
  • Working version: 2.1.81 (same machine, different terminal sessions)
  • OS: Linux 6.17.0-19-generic
  • Shell: bash

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run /voice to enable voice mode
  2. Hold Space to record
  3. Nothing happens — no recording occurs

Expected Behavior

Holding Space should start recording audio, same as in 2.1.81.

Workaround

Downgrading to 2.1.81 restores voice functionality.
