Telegram channel: typing indicator shows but reply never delivers with --channels flag

Description

When running claude --channels plugin:telegram@claude-plugins-official, the Telegram bot receives messages and shows a "typing" indicator, but the reply is never delivered.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install telegram plugin
2. Configure bot token
3. Pair Telegram user
4. Start claude --channels plugin:telegram@claude-plugins-official
5. Send a message to the bot
6. Bot shows typing but reply never delivers

Workaround

Calling reply tool from a normal interactive session works fine.
