[BUG] I upgraded my Claude plan and lost the chats and projects I had on my Desktop App

What's Wrong?

I upgraded my Claude plan and lost the chats and projects I had on my Desktop App

What Should Happen?

I noticed the desktop app wasn't showing my Pro Plan, so I logged out and back in, and my chats and Projects dissapeared

Steps to Reproduce

create claude account, free tier, open desktop app, create chats and projects

upgrade to the pro plan

notice how the desktop app doesn't refresh to show Pro Plan. Close and open it again, still shows "free tier".

Log out and in again in the desktop app, now the desktop app shows the Pro Plan, but all chats and projects are lost
