What's Wrong?

User messages disappear from the chat UI in Claude Code Desktop.
Messages are received by Claude (it responds correctly), but they are not
visible in the conversation thread. Also, pasted content (long comments)
disappears completely — never sent to Claude.

This makes it impossible to review the conversation or verify what was sent.

What Should Happen?

User messages should be visible in the chat thread after sending.
Pasted content should persist in the input field and be sent correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code Desktop app
2. Start a conversation and send a message
3. Claude responds correctly, but the user's sent message is not visible in the chat thread
4. Paste a long text (e.g. a code review comment) into the input field and send
5. The pasted content disappears — never arrives to Claude
