Bug Description
i honestly hate the new model, i wanna go back to opus 4.6 1million context. but theirs no option to go back instead im forced to use opus 4.7 as its the only one with 1 mil context and it sucks dude. let me be more specific, the increase in benchmark stats does not justify how FAST my usage is being used up on max, here i was thinking it was great on opus 4.6 and u guys chuck this garbage in my lap, i paid money for this man, this sucks. please allow us to get opus 4.6 1m context back in claude code

Agreed. Opus 4.7 is not as useful as 4.6. It doesn't follow instructions or infer meaning as well. It makes bad, sub optimal decisions. Honestly, it feels "dense," like it just doesn't get what it's doing. It's like my formerly awesome coworker has been coming to work stoned.
I'm going back to 4.6 (adding "model": "claude-opus-4-6[1m]" to settings.json)
