Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

Thanks to the Chrome Devtools MCP, I can easily give Claude access to my browser tabs NOT in a sandbox context. I'll be preferring it over Claude in Chrome with virtually everything I do. That being said... when I reference the word "chrome" in prompts, Claude frequently attempts to use the "Claude In Chrome" extension. I can disconnect the plugin, but it sucks that I need to do this for every folder on my computer!

Proposed Solution

I'd like to be able to delete or "Disable for user" the Claude In Chrome built-in plugin.
