[BUG] UI Flaw: When answering questionaire in Plan mode, touching escape key exits the questions "user refuses to answer..."

What's Wrong?

Claude "interviews" me with a standard wizard before preparing the plan. Multiple choice with some options for exchanging more on dcertain topics. IF YOU TOUCH THE ESCAPE KEY the questions vaporize with your answers and you see "user refused to answer"

What Should Happen?

I am a vi mode user. I impulsively hit the escape key, so maybe in the questionn
aire, pay less attention to the escape key?

Steps to Reproduce

Get CC to ask you questions in plan mode.
Start answering them.
Somewhere along the line, hit the escape key instead of typing words.
