[BUG] Weekly token burn rate increased significantly overnight - no local changes (Max 20x plan)

What's Wrong?

Description

My weekly usage limit is being consumed noticeably faster starting March 16 2026,
with no changes on my end whatsoever.

Environment

• Claude Code version: 2.1.45 (extension, not updated)
• Model: claude-opus-4-6 with extended thinking
• Plan: Claude Max 20x (subscription, no API key)
• IDE: Antigravity with Claude Code extension
• OS: Windows

Observed behavior

Weekly usage % is depleting faster relative to 5h window % than before.
Roughly 1.5% weekly per 10% of 5h window. Already at 8% weekly after
only a few hours today. Yesterday same workload consumed significantly less.

Expected behavior

Consistent burn rate for the same workload day over day.

Key evidence

Claude Code version did not change (2.1.45 both yesterday and today).
This rules out a local update as the cause — points to a server-side change.

What Should Happen?

Weekly token burn rate should be consistent for the same workload,
model, and Claude Code version day over day. No local changes were
made between yesterday (normal burn rate) and today (elevated burn rate).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Claude Code extension v2.1.45 on Antigravity
2. Run any moderately complex prompt with claude-opus-4-6 + extended thinking
3. Monitor weekly usage % in Claude.ai settings
4. Compare burn rate yesterday vs today for identical workload

Additional Information

Using Claude Code as a VS Code extension, not CLI.
Claude Code is not in Windows PATH — Antigravity/VS Code bundles it internally.
Plan is Claude Max 20x subscription (no API key).
Burn rate was normal yesterday with identical setup, spiked today.
Weekly % already at 8% after a few hours, which is abnormally high relative
to 5h window consumption compared to previous days.
