[BUG] Remote Control not enabled despite Max 5x plan - machine-specific

What's Wrong?

Getting Remote Control is not enabled for your account; --rc flag ignored on one machine, while it works fine on other machines under the same account (Max 5x plan).

What I've tried

• Checked ~/.claude/ for Statsig cache files — none found (no statsig* files, cache/ only contains changelog.md)
• The suggested workaround of deleting stale Statsig cache files doesn't apply since there are none on this machine

What Should Happen?

Remote Control should be enabled as it is on my other machines under the same account.

Remote Control is not enabled for your account; --rc flag ignored.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch Claude Code with --rc flag
2. Get error: "Remote Control is not enabled for your account; --rc flag ignored"
