Session list shows green active indicator for only one of multiple running sessions

Bug

When multiple Claude Code sessions are actively running (bot is working), the session picker list only shows the green circle (active indicator) for one of them. The other running sessions appear without the green indicator, making them look inactive.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start two or more Claude Code sessions in VS Code
  2. Have both sessions actively processing (bot working)
  3. Open the session picker/list

Expected behavior

All actively running sessions should display the green circle indicator.

Actual behavior

Only one session shows the green active indicator. The other running session(s) appear without it, even though they are actively processing.

Environment

  • VS Code extension (Windsurf)
  • macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)

Screenshot

The screenshot below shows the session list. The top session ("Feature Request System Implementation Documentation") has a green circle, but "Searching Chat History for LuxDictation WhatsApp Integration" (which has a yellow/orange circle but was also active) and "Building Voxbi Call Integration Across Browser Tabs" appear without the expected green active indicator despite being active.
