[Bug] Compaction Fails with "Conversation Too Long" Error When Multiple Sessions Active

Question

**Bug Description**
i see "Error: Error during compaction: Error: Conversation too long. Press esc twice to go up a few messages and try again." often when running compact. when i restart the app and rerun the /compact everything works fine.

This  happens especially when i have multiple claude code's open
