[BUG] CLI cannot connect to browser extension

What's Wrong?

when I launch claude code CLI , I get an error with the claude-browser MCP.

What Should Happen?

Claude code CLI should be able to connect claude-browser MCP

debugged with claude coder CLI:
  I'd suggest raising it at https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues with these details:                               - Extension v1.0.59                                                                                                          - Claude desktop app v1.1.5749
  - Claude Code v2.1.72
  - Native host copies successfully, registry verified, but connection never completes

Steps to Reproduce

open claude code in current project,
type /mcp to check mcp status = error shows : claude-browser . x. failed
