[Bug] CLI freezes on text paste input

Bug Description
for some reason this morning, every time I'm pasting text into the command line window, it absolutely locks up. Total freeze of the CLI, and I have to literally close the window and start a new command line session. Not sure what's going on. An image seemed to work okay, but any text paste just completely locks up.
