[Feature Request] Configurable status line positioning and alignment with hints bar

Bug Description
Status line positioning/alignment controls — Allow configuring whether the custom status line appears above or below the built-in hints bar, and support right-alignment or left/right split layout so custom info can sit alongside the hints rather than on a separate line.
