Allow hiding keyboard shortcut hints in the status bar

The bottom status bar shows a "shift tab" reminder next to the permission mode indicator. For experienced users who already know the shortcut, it adds visual clutter. It would be great to have a setting (e.g., showKeyboardHints: false) to hide these inline hints.
