[Feature Request] Allow skills to configure or suggest session names on creation

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Mar 1, 2026 by babbage Closed Mar 1, 2026

Bug Description
I want to be able to configure the name of a session when I create it with a skill. I have a skill that reviews a PR and generates draft comments which it then shows me and I indicate whether or not to include them in a pending review it then creates on Github, for my further review. These sessions are always titled "Review and merge pull request 1208" which is very wrong because the session is never going to merge the PR, and also because the title is annoyingly wide so you can't see the PR number in a reasonable sidebar width. Would be so great if a skill could set the session name, or at least express a preferred session name if the session is new.
