[BUG] Error while referencing file, claude damaged now

Environment

• [X] Anthropic Subscription
• Claude CLI version: 1.0.43 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: Windows WSL with Ubuntu 24
• Terminal: Windows Terminal

Bug Description

While typing a prompt in a new claude windows and referencing a file, there was an error shown on the console. The error appeared randomly while typing. After that claude was damaged.

Before that error occured, I randomly needed to sign in and all settings were reset, except for one mcp server.

A complete WSL restart fixed the issue though.

I don't know how.
