Claude Code shows "Claude API" instead of "Claude Max" — Remote Control unavailable

Description

Claude Code v2.1.63 on macOS shows "Opus 4.6 · Claude API" in the header instead of "Claude Max", even though I'm on the Max plan. Additionally, claude remote-control returns:

Error: Remote Control is not yet enabled for your account.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run /logout inside Claude Code
2. Run claude /login — OAuth flow completes successfully
3. Header still shows "Opus 4.6 · Claude API" instead of "Claude Max"
4. Run claude remote-control — returns error above

Environment

• Claude Code version: 2.1.63
• OS: macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)
• Account: agadrob88@gmail.com (Max plan subscriber)
• Auth method: OAuth login (no ANTHROPIC_API_KEY set)
• /feedback command also fails with "Error submitting feedback / bug report" (tried multiple times)

Expected Behavior

• Header should show "Claude Max"
• claude remote-control should work for Max plan subscribers
• /feedback should submit successfully

Suspected Cause

Max plan entitlement doesn't appear to be recognized by Claude Code. The OAuth login succeeds but the account is treated as a standard API account rather than a Max subscriber.
