Remote Control fails at startup: Bridge environments are not available for this organization (Pro account)

Environment

• Claude Code version: 2.1.63
• OS: Ubuntu 22 (Linux)
• Plan: Pro

Issue

Remote Control fails immediately at startup with the following error in debug logs:

[bridge:repl] Environment registration failed: Bridge environments are not available for this organization.
[bridge:repl] Init returned null (precondition or session creation failed)

The message 'remote control failed' appears at the bottom of the screen immediately upon launching Claude Code, before any input is made.

Steps to reproduce

1. Enable Remote Control for all sessions in Claude Code settings
2. Launch claude
3. 'remote control failed' message appears immediately at startup

Additional info

• No statsig folder exists in ~/.claude/
• settings.json only contains skipDangerousModePermissionPrompt: true
• Rollout announced as 100% complete by @noahzweben on 2026-02-28
• /remote-control manual command also fails

Expected behavior

Remote Control should be available for Pro users as announced.
