What's Wrong?
Description:
Issue
Arabic (RTL) text is not displaying correctly in the Claude Code chat sidebar after updating to v2.1.63. Characters are rendered left-to-right (LTR) instead of right-to-left (RTL).
Workaround
Downgrade to Claude Code v2.1.61 where RTL text works correctly
What Should Happen?
Arabic text should display right-to-left (RTL) as it does in v2.1.61
Error Messages/Logs
Arabic text displays left-to-right (LTR), making it unreadable and reversed
Steps to Reproduce
- Update Claude Code extension to v2.1.63
- Open Claude Code chat in Cursor sidebar
- Type any text in Arabic
