What's Wrong?

Description:

Issue

Arabic (RTL) text is not displaying correctly in the Claude Code chat sidebar after updating to v2.1.63. Characters are rendered left-to-right (LTR) instead of right-to-left (RTL).

Workaround

Downgrade to Claude Code v2.1.61 where RTL text works correctly

What Should Happen?

Arabic text should display right-to-left (RTL) as it does in v2.1.61

Error Messages/Logs

Arabic text displays left-to-right (LTR), making it unreadable and reversed

  1. Update Claude Code extension to v2.1.63

  3. Type any text in Arabic
