Bug Description

Arabic text input in the Claude Code chat panel is broken.
Characters appear garbled/misshapen when typing in Arabic (RTL text).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open VS Code with Claude Code extension
  2. Open the Claude Code chat panel
  3. Try typing any Arabic text in the input field
  4. Characters appear incorrectly (e.g. "محتحمنم" instead of proper Arabic)

Expected Behavior

Arabic text should render correctly with proper character shaping
and right-to-left direction, as it did in previous versions.

Previous Behavior

Arabic input was working correctly in a previous version of the extension.

Environment

  • OS: Windows
