[BUG] update available message does not disappear

What's Wrong?

brew upgrade claude-code does not disappear even after done a upgrade

What Should Happen?

Actual behavior:
Version check message persists despite being on latest version. brew upgrade claude-code confirms
nothing needs upgrading.

2. Exit and re-enter Claude Code by typing claude
3. Observe the "Update available!" message
