Remote Control unavailable on Max plan (v2.1.62, Linux)

claude remote-control returns:

Error: Remote Control is not yet available on your plan.

Environment

• Plan: Claude Max
• Claude Code version: 2.1.62 (latest)
• Platform: Linux (6.8.0-101-generic)
• Auth: OAuth login via claude /login — confirmed successful

Steps to reproduce

1. claude /login → "Login successful"
2. claude remote-control → error

Troubleshooting attempted

• Re-authenticated via /login — no effect
• Confirmed on latest version (2.1.62) — no effect
