[BUG] Regression: Approval/Options via Question tool - Numeric entry now treated as text entry instead of selection

What's Wrong?

Previously, when Claude Code asked questions/requested approval with numeric options one could press the associated number to choose the option. Now this is treated instead as wishing to edit the option, whereby the first press (i.e. of 2) results in edit mode and if repeating would add a "2" as if one had pressed tab (for edit mode) + 2.

What Should Happen?

Claude should choose/confirm the response associated with the number.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Get Claude Code to either request approval or ask a question
2) Respond by using the number on your keyboard, previously this would choose an option - now it does not.
