What's Wrong?

Title: Cowork – Virtualization Not Detected on Dell XPS 14 9440 (Windows 11)
Summary: Cowork displays "Virtualization is not enabled" despite full Hyper-V stack being enabled and confirmed active.
System:

Dell XPS 14 9440
Windows 11
Claude Desktop [your version]

All enabled and confirmed:

VirtualMachinePlatform: Enabled
HypervisorPlatform: Enabled
Microsoft-Hyper-V-All and all sub-components: Enabled
systeminfo returns: "A hypervisor has been detected"
vmms service running
Task Manager CPU confirms Virtualization: Enabled
vm_bundles folder deleted, Claude Desktop relaunched as Administrator
Multiple reboots performed

Result: Cowork still displays virtualization error. MCP server connections also fail as a downstream consequence.
Related issues: #24918, #25136

What Should Happen?

Cowork should detect the active Hyper-V hypervisor and initialize the virtualization sandbox successfully, allowing the Cowork workspace to load and MCP server connections to establish normally.
