[Bug] Terminal input height collapses in multi-pane Ghostty layouts requiring restart

Bug Description
I'm using Ghostty and currently have a 4-split terminal window open. At least twice a day, the terminal input squishes, losing all its height and sometimes blocking me from writing prompts, which forces me to restart the terminal. Another issue is that I want to scroll up to view the conversation history, but when there are background agents, the scroll resets back down, preventing me from going up. The only way to resolve this is to restart the terminal window.
