[BUG] Prompted to log in and asked to confirm that I was being charged $5 when i have Max plan and not pay as you go.

Previous session unexpectedly prompted for login and displayed a $5 charge notification

Steps to Reproduce

Expected Behavior

Normal Claude Code session without unexpected login prompts or billing notifications

Actual Behavior

Claude Code requested login and displayed message about $5 charge

Additional Context

User reports this happened in a previous session. Each Claude Code session should start fresh without memory of past interactions, so unexpected login prompts and billing notifications during normal usage may
indicate a bug.
